Met Anthony at a trek convention in Toronto got his autograph was to be JAMES BUT HE CANCELLED.Best witch Willow and watcher Giles but Wes was great in Angel especially the begining when he was still a bi of a clutz. Best dressed female is a tie Buffy and Cordelia. Male best dresser David poor Spike did not have much variety in wardrobe.

    1. (B) BECOMING PART II
This season finale encompasses everything about what Buffy the Vampire Slayer is. It has action, romance, comedy, heartbreak, and major character developments- all things that get packaged into one great episode, and that’s what makes the show unique. I’m a Buffy/Angel shipper- so of course I both love and hate the Bangel moment at the end. Everytime I rewatch that episode, my tears just start flowing as soon as Angel gets his soul back. This episode also contained the best fight, in my opinion, of the entire Buffyverse. Buffy and Angel’s sword fight is one of the classic BtVS fights and I love the quote:
“Now that’s everything, huh? No weapons… No friends… No hope. Take all that away… and what’s left?”- Angelus
    “Me.”- Buffy
This season finale shows major growth in Buffy’s character, as she finally accepts that she’s the slayer and it’s her duty to kill Angelus, no matter how much she doesn’t want to.

    2. (A) BUFFY
She’s a hot bu**-kicking slayer, and I’m a sucker for the hero stuff. Buffy never gave up and continued fighting even after everything that happened to her: finding out she was the slayer which broke down her entire world, witnessing the death of her watcher Merrick and not being able to do anything, dying at the age of 16, having to kill the love of her life, watching as Angel left her, being left alone again by Riley, finding her mother’s dead body, finding out her sister was the key, being ripped out of heaven by her friends…… I could go on and on lol. My point is, at the end of the day, Buffy always did what was right and was the one left standing.

Sometimes she can annoy me, but then there are times when I really love her. My two favorite Buffy quotes:

“Dawn, listen to me. Listen. I love you. I will *always* love you. But this is the work that I have to do. Tell Giles … tell Giles I figured it out. And, and I’m okay. And give my love to my friends. You have to take care of them now. You have to take care of each other. You have to be strong. Dawn, the hardest thing in this world … is to live in it. Be brave. Live. For me.”- season 5, episode 22, The Gift

    and

“I killed Angel! Do you even remember that? I would have given up everything I had to be with— I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life. And I put a sword through his heart because I had to. Do you remember cheering me on? Both of you. Do you remember giving me Willow’s message: Kick his a$$. It is always different! It’s always complicated. And at some point, someone has to draw the line, and that is always going to be me. You get down on me for cutting myself off, but in the end the slayer is always cut off. There’s no mystical guidebook. No all-knowing council. Human rules don’t apply. There’s only me. I am the law.”- season 7, episode 5, Selfless

    3. (A) ANGEL
Yes, Angel got his soul because of a curse, but we can see how beautiful his soul is if he manages to become such a good man after being the most vicious vampire ever. Despite the reasons he got ensouled, Angel worked hard to redeem himself. He never gets rid of the guilt and unlike Spike, doesn’t get over it after spending just a week in a basement, because Angel knows nothing will make up for the crimes he committed. He can only hope to make amends with himself by fighting hard to make the world a better place each and every day.

    4. (A) SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR
SMG (well, I suppose it’s actually Sarah Michelle Prinze now) has always been one of my idols. She’s always been a great actress, from the time when she was just a little kid. If you watch her on All My Children, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and all the movies she’s made, her growth as an actress is evident. Even when Sarah was on a movie that didn’t do so well, like The Air I Breathe, her performance was still praised and her work recognized. During the first two seasons, when SMG was still just starting out on Buffy, there are four key moments that I can think of that really show her ability as an actress. The first, when Buffy hears about the prophecy of her death. Sarah makes it very realistic and the amount of emotion in her voice always makes me want to cry when she says that she’s sixteen and doesn’t want to die. The second, when Sarah delivers the line “When you kiss me, I wanna die.” The third is the morning after, when Angelus has appeared and Buffy doesn’t know it yet. She portrays exactly what a teenage girl would act like in that situation. The fourth is when Buffy is about to kill Angel. It always amazes me how well you can see the love and heartbreak on screen.

    5. (A) DAVID BOREANAZ
I admit, there are times when David Boreanaz really could not act in season 1. He was still new to the whole Hollywood business, and it was clear that he needed a lot of work. However, his improvement as an actor is tremendous and the thing that convinced me he could act was once again, the morning after. David portrays Angelus beautifully. The change in character between Angel and Angelus is so abrupt, but David manages to capture it, especially in season 3 Enemies. Also, if anyone watches the show Bones, David Boreanaz plays one of the main characters, Special Agent Seeley Booth, and does an excellent job.

    6. (A) WILLOW
I was going to pick Tara, because although Willow is more powerful, she has never been responsible about the magic and has used it recklessly. With Tara, being a witch seems more natural and right, like it truly comes from within her. However, I then thought about all the obstacles Willow faced and decided to give her credit where it’s due. Even with the help of Xander, it seems like an incredible feat to stop yourself from destroying the world when you’re so heartbroken because the person you love the most has just died and you can’t deal with the grief. I’m really proud of Willow when she realizes in season 7 that magic can come from the light, and she delves within the goodness inside of her to use magic.

    7. (A) GILES
Oh god, I really hope no one picks Gwendolyn Post lol. I really doubt she’s going to win the Watcher of the Year award after getting kicked out of the council and trying to steal the glove so she could take over the world. Maybe if it was the Pyshco Watcher Award, then sure.
If this poll included both BtVS and Angel, it would have been harder to choose between Giles and Wesley. However, since this is only about BtVS, the answer is definitely Giles. Wesley never wanted to truly get to know Buffy. I know he always had the best intentions in mind, but he didn’t always make the best decisions when it came to how it would affect everyone else. Wesley really messed up with Faith and how he dealt with that situation. Giles, on the other hand, may not always have approved of Buffy’s decisions, but always supported her. I truly admire him when he says in season 2 Innocence, “Do you want me to wag my finger at you and tell you that you acted rashly? You did. A-and I can. I know that you loved him. And… he… has proven more than once that he loved you. You couldn’t have known what would happen. The coming months a-are gonna, are gonna be hard… I, I suspect on all of us, but… if it’s guilt you’re looking for, Buffy, I’m, I’m not your man. All you will get from me is, is my support. And my respect.” Giles has done what no watcher has ever done before: cared for and love his slayer. He’s been Buffy’s father figure throughout the show and I doubt she could have gone without him.

    8. (A) BUFFY
I love Buffy’s clothes, especially in season 2. Her style changes (mainly because SMG requested not to reveal her legs anymore) but I love how she manages to wear clothing that shows her as a more tougher and mature, yet feminine character.

    9. (A) ANGEL
Can you say leather pants? I miss Angelus sometimes because he would don the leather pants more often lol. I love Angel’s style because it really reflects on his character, with the darkness and brooding. Plus, he looks hot in whatever he wears (or doesn’t wear, he’s shown shirtless a lot of times in season 2, fortunately for me).

  5. Brittany Murphy says:

    1. A- love the ending to Prophecy Girl.
    2. A- Duh, Buffy!
    3. A- Angel… Sexiest man alive!
    4. A- SMG is Brilliant!
    5. A- The way he plays Angelus, I love it!
    6. A- Willow has had a very colorful history with magic but shes still a kick ass witch.
    7. A- Giles of course! (and btw Gwendolyn Post was in season 3 episode 7 but the episode is “Revelations” not “lovers Walk”)
    8. A- Buffy always looks stylish. Even more so than Cordy.
    9. A- (just wanna state that its very creepy that all of my answers are A lol) Not just because i LOVE angel but xander and oz dress very nerdy and spike wears the same thing everyday, so Angel for me is kinda a given.
